Master Level Certifications (MCR & MCKBR)

The highest level of remodeling certification. Reserved for individuals
who have held the CR or CKBR designations for at least ten years.

NARI Master Certified Remodelers (MCR®) and Master Certified Kitchen and Bath Remodelers (MCKBR®) are recognized as distinguished leaders in the remodeling community. They represent the highest standards of craftsmanship, business excellence, and ethical practices—demonstrated through long-term success and meaningful contributions to their chapters, communities, and the industry.

The MCR® and MCKBR® designations are the pinnacle of NARI certification and honor professionals who continue to lead with excellence, integrity, and innovation.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Hold the CR® or CKBR® designation for at least ten (10) consecutive years
  • Hold an additional NARI certification (CR, CKBR, CLC, CRPM, CRD, or UDCP)
  • Demonstrate leadership through involvement in a local NARI chapter (committee, board, officer) and/or the local community

Certification Process

  • Submit the MCR® or MCKBR® application with the certification fee
  • Provide a letter of recommendation from a chapter executive/president or three (3) letters from recent clients
  • Application reviewed by NARI Certification staff to confirm eligibility
